'U1 Hybrid Tablet' All Set to Release New Tablet From Lenovo - - A Fully Functional Notebook With Impressive Specifications


One of the most scintillating of all notebooks and tablet devices unveiled at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) was the Lenovo U1 Hybrid Tablet, that is not only a tablet device, but is also a fully functional notebook as well. The all new U1 boasts of highly impressive configurations for both the laptop mode as well as the tablet mode.

Now, Lenovo has stated that, the company is planning to release the U1 Hybrid Tablet pretty soon and has also provided the users with a notification form, that would inform you of the availability of the product. The all new U1 Hybrid Tablet when in the form of a notebook sports an Intel Core 2 Duo CULV processor along with a 128 GB solid state drive and runs on Microsoft Windows 7 operating system.

The notebook display is 11.6 inches and the screen can be pulled out to transform the notebook into a tablet device, which is when the custom Skylight touch-enabled version of Linux operating system kicks in. The tablet mode of the U1 Hybrid Tablet is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and the device comes with an in-built 16GB flash memory. Also this new hybrid device has been embedded with specially created software called, Hybrid Switch, with which the users can easy toggle between both the Intel and Snapdragon processors.
