Sanyo has added two new HD video cameras to its Xacti Range, the Sanyo Xacti DMX-CG100 and the DMX-GH1, both of these new camcorders are capable of recording Full HD video in 1080p (1920 x 1080 pixels).
The Xacti DMX-GH1 comes with a 14.4 megapixel CMOS sensor, and will take SD cards up to 64GB, has five times optical zoom, face detection, USB and HDMI out, plus a 2.7 inch LCD display.
The DMX-CG100 shares the same features as the previous model, with a 14.4 megapixel CMOS sensor, five times optical zoom, face detection, USB and HDMI out, plus a 2.7 inch LCD display.
The main difference between the two models is the design as you can see from the photos. Both models will be available in Japan shortly for around $375.
There are no details as yet on when we are likely to see them in the US and Europe and no details on how much they will retail for.
