VIA has launched a new palm sized PC, the VIA ARTiGO A1100 is designed for PC enthusiasts who want to add their own components. Although all you will need to add to it is some memory and storage.
The VIA ARTiGO A1100 features a 1.2GHz VIA Nano processor and VIA’s VX855 media system processor, which means you will be able to playback Full HD video in 1080p.
Size wise the VIA ARTiGO A1100 measures 5.7 inches by 3.9 inches by 2 inches, and it comes with a range of connections which include HDMI, VGA, Ethernet, five USB 2,0 ports, three audio jacks and the option to add in 802.11 b/g WiFi and an SD card.
Pricing starts at $243, which could make this ideal for a budget home theater PC as all you will need to add is a hard drive, some memory and your operating system of choice.
