Kate Garraway has confirmed that she is on the road to recovery after undergoing surgery for appendicitis.
The GMTV host was last month rushed to hospital for emergency treatment after experiencing agonising pains.
Yesterday, the 43-year-old told reporters that she was feeling "a lot better" as she left her North London home.
According to the Daily Mail, Garraway also confirmed that she was on the way back to hospital to have stitches taken out after having her appendix removed.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for the presenter told The Mirror that Garraway has been "very ill and hasn't been out a lot".
He added: "The doctors said it would take at least two weeks to recover, so she is very tired at the moment."
