The new i-LIMB Pulse from Touch Bionics is the latest in their range constructed with an aluminium chassis, knuckles and dislocators, the i-LIMB Pulse’s robust design make it Touch Bionics’ toughest prosthetic device yet, capable of supporting a load of up to 90kg.
The prosthetic device uses pulsing technology to provide increasing and controllable grip strength to each individual digit. Allowing more pressure to be exerted for activities in every day living such as tying your show lace, gripping objects or doing up a belt for example.
To allow adjustments to the motors and power setting the i-Limb is fitted with a Bluetooth recevier that allows the prosthetists and users to tweak the setting with ease.
