Samsung has added a new notebook to its range, the Samsung P580, which is designed with the business user in mind. The Samsung P580 features a 15.6 inch LED backlit display with a resolution of 1,366 x 768, and the display is also anti glare.
Processing comes in the form of Intel Core i3 and Core i5 processors and there is also an NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 1GB graphics card, and the choice of either 2GB of 4GB of RAM.
Other specifications on the Samsung P580 include integrated 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, four USB 2.0 ports, and an eSATA port.
Samsung’s P580 notebook has been designed to give users the reassurance and peace-of-mind that its data will be protected wherever it is. The model features a host of security features including Phoenix FailSafe, a theft-deterrent service that offers users the ability to protect, track and manage their notebook, should it be stolen or lost. If data is compromised, users can retrieve and erase any critical material remotely – ensuring that thieves cannot view sensitive documents.
The Samsung P580 will be available shortly, there are no details on pricing as yet.
