Speaking to Us Weekly, Rycroft said that the pregnancy was a "shock".
"We weren't even trying," the 27-year-old explained.
She added: "It's the most wonderful surprise in the world. It's such a blessing."
The former Dancing With The Stars contestant announced the news during her appearance as a correspondent on Good Morning America.
Rycroft and Strickland married last December.
