As per initial estimates, the state of Abu Dhabi could very well be the venue for 10,000 tourists a day coming in to see the magnificent Ferrari theme park, thereby adding enormously to the state’s tourism industry and revenue. The all new Ferrari theme park will feature the world’s fastest roller coaster, that would propel the tourists to an incredible speed of 149 mph in just 4.9 seconds, there by replicating the G-Force effects of a Ferrari Formula One car.

Also, this incredible theme park will be composed of a life-size Scalextric-style track, that will make this venue a heritage site for all F1 fans and enthusiasts. The opening of the Ferrari theme park has been scheduled to be just days away from the start of the Formula One race in UAE, for which the country has funneled in billions of dollars to design and develop a state of the art race track. However, the recent death of a royal figure in the UAE, Mohammed al-Qassimi, has led to the postponement of the opening ceremony till November 4th, 2010. The roof of this indoor marvel of engineering is colored in blazing red, the official signature color of the Ferrari brand and the roof is adorned with the world’s biggest Ferrari horse logo in the world, with an estimated cost of $40 billion.
