The Winter is coming near and, if you have already taken a look at some stores (such as Diesel, or maybe Zara), then it’s very possible that you have already found the new collections for this Fall-Winter 2010/2011… and in all of them, or almost all of them, there is an item that is a strong fashion trend during the cold days: We are talking about cardigans.
A cardigan is a kind of wool jacket which, usually, is worn during the Fall / Winter season. In recent seasons, the cardigans have been marked by trendy designs and a prevalent position in collections from several well-known brands. Usually, they look very elegant. And this year, they come also with different prints and textures that make them more attractive.
For example, the greenish cardigan (in the picture above) belongs to the catalog of the Italian clothing company Diesel. It was launched during the month of September as part of the new Diesel collection, which also includes other types of cardigans, most of them with very neutral colors, although there are some exceptions such as the one in the picture.
On the other hand, it is also necessary to say that, traditionally, the cardigans have been used as a sort of thin jackets that complement our shirts or T-shirts during the Fall / Winter season. Anyway, according to latest trends, the printed cardigans are a “must-have” for these cold days at the end of 2010 and beginning of 2011.
