The 20-year-old, who can be seen this weekend in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” says Ferretti contacted her after spying her previous green work.
The collection, expected to launch next year, does not have a name — but will reportedly be eco-chic with a “classic, ’60s Jane Birkin” vibe. “I will put it out there that I will work for anyone for free if they are prepared to make their clothing fair-trade organic,” she added.
Could Watson make a big splash in the fashion industry outside of her acting career? She already has an eye for the scene — having repeatedly been declared a “fashion icon”; a label she admits makes her nervous.
“I keep hearing that fashion icon thing. It makes me nervous. Please don’t say that,” Emma told MTV’s Josh Horowitz. “It’s like obviously a huge compliment, but I am suddenly aware that every outfit I wear is being analyzed.”
“I just still try to have fun with it and try not to pay too much attention and just kind of enjoy it,” she added.
