13 June 2011. After several treatments on Bipolar II Disorder that she had, Catherine Zeta Jones made her first public appearance at the Tony Awards in New York on Sunday this June 2011. The beautiful actress was wearing an elegant red gown and she was all great looking. Catherine Zeta Jones is the Oscar Winning actress and this was her first award show appearance after the battle with Catherine’s Bipolar II disorder last April. Michael Douglas gave short comment about Catherine Zeta Jones his wife: “She is doing great.” Catherine Zeta Jones’ appearance has stunned the audience when she presented the Tony Awards to Mark Rylance for his playing “Jerusalem.” Beside Mark Rylance, the Tony Awards also went to Norbert Leo Butz that night for the musical “Catch Me If You Can.”
Catherine Zeta Jones is now 41 years old this year and she won the Oscar for “Chicago” a musical drama which presented on the big screen. Last year, Catherine Zeta Jones got Tony Award for the revival of the work of Stephen Sondheim called “A Little Night Music.”
According to Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta Jones is currently working on “Rock of Ages” together with other stars like Tom Cruise, Alec Baldwin and Katy Perry’s husband, Russell Brand. Catherine Zeta Jones is doing her rehearsal for “Rock of Ages” where she will doing the dancing part and finishing some pictures in Louisiana.
Catherine Zeta Jones and her “Rock of Ages” will hit theaters on June 1, next year, 2012.
