Vivitar 690HD Pocket Cam - - Enjoy Underwater Video Shooting Being Within Your Budget

It’s pretty easy to record video footage these days. Almost every phone can do it, and since most people aren’t more than a few feet from their cell at any time, you can bet that there’s always a camera around. However, if you want to shoot some video underwater, you’ll have a little more difficulty. After all, the worst thing you can do to a camera is drop it in water (well, a blender might be a little worse). For these times, you might consider the Vivitar 690HD Pocket Cam.

This rather boring-looking 720p camera would fall into the realm of “ordinary” if not for its amphibious nature. All you’ll need is an SD card (it only comes with a paltry 8MB of internal memory) and you’ll be ready to venture into the depths of the sea (or at least the pond out back). What’s really interesting is that you will only have to spend $60 on this gadget. If you’re wanting to shoot underwater without spending a lot of cash, I’d say this is the way to go.

smartCAM by Denis Kalinin - - Fish-shaped Point and Shoot Camera

When you really think about it, the way that 99.9% of cameras are designed invites an awkwardness of use. It isn’t until you consider concepts like the smartCAM by Denis Kalinin that you really become aware that there may be a better way to take pictures.

Instead of holding your digital device, leveling it with your other hand and carefully pressing the button as not to upset the shot, this cutting-edge camera allows the user to embrace the artistry of photography once again. The fish-shaped gadget features a sensitive lens at the end and a tapering point where you can grip it between your fingers.

Essentially, you hold and move it as you would a paintbrush. Simply swipe the scene in front of you with the smartCAM by Denis Kalinin, and the image will instantly be registered by an optimized ergonomic fashion.

Dual Cam Dashboard Camera - - For Front and Rare View at the Same Time

This Dual Cam Dash Camera is designed to shoot and store video from both the front of your vehicle and the rear which means you should be totally covered in the event of an accident or road rage incident. As is usual with this sort of product, don’t expect awesome video quality, and I’m not sure I’d be totally comfortable using it to back up, but hey, it’s an interesting thing. $85.99.

Find it difficult to prove you innocent during the traffic accident? This Dual CAM Car Dashboard Camera will help you a lot in this situation. With two camera lens installed, it will help you capture video both in front or back of the car. At the same time, you just watch the LCD screen while backing your car since the video will be showed.

Leica's New Range of Digital Cameras: Look Expert With Your Ordinary Talent of Photography

I remember, in the golden days of my childhood, my uncle had a Yashica camera; which required manual focussing and lot of other manual settings to have a good result out of it.

But in the modern world of technology; gone are the days when the excellence of a picture depended upon the ability of the photographer. These days a lot depends upon the quality of the camera. Whatever be the decade, Leica has always brought out excellent cameras.

1.      Leica V-Lux 20:  It takes great pictures without being too complex to use. The 12.1 megapixel camera has HD movie recording and GPS tagging abilities as well. Priced at $699.

2.      Leica D Lux 5: This is a daily use camera can capture extremely typical images. As compared to the other cameras in this class, it has edge in terms of faster lens and zoom, with practical range of focal lengths, plus memory saving and 720-pixel HD video features.

3.      Leica M9: Quite contrary to Leica D Lux 5, it’s not a daily use camera. It happens to be world’s first model with a 24 by 36 sensor, making it very special of digital rangefinder cameras. Compatible with almost all existing M lenses, this camera comes with a price tag of $6,995.

Panasonic ZS10, ZS8, FX78, and TS3: Addition to The Lumix Range of Point And Shoot Cameras

Panasonic has announced four new point and shoot cameras that fall into the Lumix range. These four cameras follow on from eight that were announced just a couple of weeks ago at CES.

The new cameras are the ZS10, ZS8, FX78, and TS3 which have a number of features all of which are explained below.

The Lumix ZS10 and the ZS8 each have a zoom lens capable of an optical zoom of 16 times. Each has a 14.1 megapixel sensor with the ZS10 being capable of capturing video at 1080p while the ZS8 is restricted to 720p. The ZS10 has a 24mm wide angle lens and has a 3 inch touchscreen. A 3D mode is also included with this camera.

Release dates for the ZS10 and ZS8 will be sometime in March. No prices have been given just yet.

Next up is the Lumix FX78 which is a full HD camera. The lens is wide angle at 24mm and the sensor is 12.1 megapixels. This allows the camera to capture video in full HD at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 in the AVCHD format.

The FX78 has a 3.5 inch touchscreen on the back allowing you to control all the functions of the camera. This camera also has the 3D mode which also takes 20 shots and combines the best two to get a 3D image.

The launch date for the FX78 will also be March although no prices have been revealed just yet.

On to the Lumix TS3, this particular camera is designed to be rugged. The camera is completely waterproof as well as freeze proof, shock proof and dustproof. As it is aimed at the outdoors, it also has a compass built in along with an altimeter and a barometer. This camera is also capable of full 1080p video and has a 28 mm wide angle lens. As with the other cameras, there's no pricing, but the TS3 is also expected in March.

This featured eyeball camera with zoom features was developed by Scientists Yonggang Huang and John Rogers as a step up from previous camera models. The eyeball camera has 3.5 optical zoom, captures sharp images and can be helpful in situations where night-vision surveillance and robotic vision is required.

It may not be as advanced as the Terminator, but this eyeball camera with zoom will surely bring you a step closer to being more futuristic.

HD Goggles Produced by Liquid Image - - Hi-def full 1080p HD Movie Recording While You're Enjoying Skiing

If you’ve ever gone skiing, you’ve probably found it to be a pretty thrilling experience. Watching from the sidelines just doesn’t do the sport justice. The same can be said about taking footage of a run. Having someone point a camera at you won’t produce the same sort of thrill that a helmet cam would. That’s why the people at Liquid Image have produced these HD Goggles.

We’ve seen helmet cams in the past, but mounting a camera to the side of a helmet can be a hassle. This one has the camera mounted right on the goggles. This reduces the amount of time spent setting up the camera so that you can spend more time on the slopes. Also, with the camera right on your forehead, you’re going to eliminate the off-center video that you would otherwise get. The camera shoots in full 1080p HD, and stores the files on an SD card (up to 32GB). Unfortunately there is no word on pricing.

The Camera-Torch Can Record and Project Your Personal Productions

How would you like a handheld gadget that not only records video, but also plays it back with magnified sound and picture? The Camera-Torch is that device, and you’d really never guess just looking at it.

Designed with the form of an ordinary flashlight, the Camera-Torch houses eight LEDs for a 240-lumen light beam. Behind that is a sophisticated digital camera and camcorder that can also project its recordings on any flat surface for a big-screen experience. Perfect for action filming from your bike handlebars or just about anywhere else, the Camera-Torch is a steal for its $80 price tag.

Poco Pro: Credit Card Sized Digital Camera - - World's Smallest With Maximum Resolution of 14 Megapixels and Supports Video Recording in 1080p

Yesterday, December 22, Iain Sinclair showed that it can be considered the smallest digital camera ever made. Approaching the size of a credit card to Poco Pro surprised by the maximum resolution of 14 megapixels and supports video recording in 1080p.

According to the manufacturer, the camera is ideal for those looking for a compact with great sensitivity to light. Among the resources available is the ultra fast autofocus, the Super Macro (close to capturing the details), image stabilization and face recognition.

In addition, the unit includes some typical controls DSLR equipment such as manual control of focusing and adjusting the lens opening. To ensure the brightness of images, Poco Pro comes with two LED flash.

The Poco Pro is also capable of performing the recording and playing videos and music. For this, it has two microphone inputs and lateral 3.5 mm headphones. All in a compact body made completely of aluminum with textures that bring more security when holding the device – the total weight is only 65 grams.

Ion Twin Video Camera: With Two Lens and Two Microphones - - To Record the Action And Reaction at The Same Time

We've featured many camcorders and cameras with amazing features but this Ion Twin Video Camera features something very special, you’ve guessed it, two lenses and two microphones, artfully arranged so you can record the action in front of you, while at the same time capturing your reaction to the event. Sound scary? Agreed. This is obviously great for happy gatherings like little Tommy’s birthday, but what about those dodgy moments when Gran falls into the Christmas trifle bowl? Yeeeew. Priced at £129.00.

Not only does it have two camera lenses (one on each side, logically) that you can switch between while you record, it’s also got two microphones so that both sides of the conversation can be heard equally. This is a great tool for aspiring journalists bagging on-the-spot interviews, or anyone who thinks the human reaction to events is just as important as the event itself. All the standard features you’d expect on a modern video camera are present and correct – zoom, decent resolution and great frame rate – just to sweeten the deal.

Super Cool "Spy Camera T-Shirt" from ThinkGeek - - Camera Can Store Almost 1000 Photos in 640 x 480 Resolution

ThinkGeek has brought out some amazing geeky product in the past. Their latest innovation is the  Electronic Spy Camera Shirt. It is basically a t-shirt that has a spy camera on it.  Dont believe me? Take a closer look then. You will see an actual camera lens complete with a remote control that runs down to the wearer’s hand. The wearer just has to push the shutter button, and a photo will be taken of whatever is infront. To inform the user that the picture has been taken, the remote vibrates a little. This cool but sneaky camera can store almost 1000 photos in 640 x 480 resolution.

Three AAA batteries are required to get this camera running. It can also be connected to the computer via a USB drive to download or upload pics. You can get this T-shirt for $39.99 (USD).
