Katie Price leaves £3m mansion over 'bad memories'

Katie Price has announced that she has moved out of the house she shared with ex-husbands Peter Andre and Alex Reid.

The glamour model turned businesswoman declared on Twitter yesterday that her £3m Surrey home had been tainted with "not good memories" of her failed marriages.

"Finally said goodbye to the house I lived in for 3 years," she wrote. "Onwards and upwards from here. Not good memories there! New house, new start. Wooo hooo!"

Price celebrated the move to her £2m abode in West Sussex by spending a "cosy night in" with friends, family and boyfriend Leandro Penna.

"Cosy night in sitting next 2 new log fire with@leandro__penna, my mum and dad, Harvey, 4 dogs, 7 cats," she tweeted. "Love this house. So happy, I'm a lucky girl."

Price sold her mansion for £250,000 below its asking price after deeming it to be "cursed".

The 33-year-old purchased her West Sussex home last year and has spent the last eight months renovating it.

Penna is said to have given up his own apartment in Argentina in order to spend more time with Price.

Katie Price named world's worst-dressed woman

Glamour model, author and reality TV star, Katie Price, has been named the world's worst-dressed woman.

She was followed by the eccentric singer Lady GaGa, whose awards dress made from cuts of meat was memorable for all the wrong reasons, reports the Sydney Morning Herald.

Victoria Beckham is down seven places at number 15 in the best-dressed list, while Beyonce suffered the biggest drop, from 9th place to 36th.

Katie Price in "terrifying" car accident

Katie Price was involved in a car crash yesterday while on holiday with boyfriend Leandro Penna.

The glamour model's accident occurred when two wild stallions, who were killed instantly, collided with Penna's Toyota jeep, which was written off.

Speaking to The Mirror, Price - who is thought to have suffered cuts to her hands and whiplash - reflected: "It was absolutely terrifying.

"It all happened in a flash and I have absolutely no idea how I wasn't badly injured. I feel so lucky, but more than anything I'm just distraught about the horses. It was so upsetting."

Meanwhile, a source claimed: "Quite frankly, it beggars belief that Katie and Leo survived at all. And Katie knows just how close she came to dying.

"The two animals ploughed into their vehicle, with one flying through the windscreen, backside-first, hitting both Katie and Leo simultaneously."

The insider added: "Luckily, Leandro reacted lightning-quick, braked hard and swerved violently the moment he saw the horses. Although it wasn't enough to save the horses, undoubtedly his reactions saved the pair's lives, plus those of the three passengers in the back.

"But Kate was far more concerned about the death of the stallions than she was her own injuries. She is badly shaken up and she was in pieces all of last night."

A spokesperson for Price confirmed the incident, saying that she and Penna were "'OK, though understandably shaken".

Price has said that she "can't thank" Sir Elton John enough for helping her meet Penna. It was recently claimed that she plans to adopt a child from his native Argentina.

Katie Price to adopt Argentinian child?

Katie Price is reportedly planning to adopt a child from her boyfriend Leandro Penna's native Argentina.

The model-turned-businesswoman is said to have been touched by the struggles of poverty-stricken children in the South American country but is not yet ready to raise a child with her Latino partner, according to The People.

A close friend claimed: "She would try for a solo adoption ­because her relationship with Leandro is still in the early stages.

"On her last visit to Argentina earlier this month Katie saw at first hand the plight of some of the children over there and confided she would make enquiries about the country's adoption laws."

The source further claimed that Price has set her legal team the challenge of exploiting loopholes in the Argentinian adoption system, as UK citizens are currently prohibited from receiving custody of a child from the country.

They said: "She is aware of all the legal issues - but what Katie wants she usually gets. And ­having money to get the best lawyers helps. She'd give as much love to an adopted child as she would to her own."

A representative for Price has since told the Daily Mail that the reports are not true.

Price was reported to be considering adopting a child with ex-husband Alex Reid after two rounds of IVF treatment failed.

The 32-year-old has a disabled 8-year-old son, Harvey, with footballer Dwight Yorke and two children with first husband Peter Andre - Junior, 5, and Princess, 3.

Alex Reid 'considered suicide after split'

Alex Reid has admitted that he considered suicide during the darkest moments of his split from Katie Price.

In an interview with the News of the World, the cage fighter expressed his anguish at the model dating Leandro Penna so publicly and confessed that he often wonders which parts of their relationship were real.

"I've had some really dark moments over the last few weeks," said Reid. "I'm a fighter but this has drained me. At my lowest I thought it would be easier not to be here. It was horrible because I usually live life to the full. I'm a strong guy. I'm a fighter.

I'm the same Alex who she met and who won Celebrity Big Brother. She was slagging off my clothes, but then Leandro's dressing in an identical way to me - the same style of jeans and tops. It doesn't make sense."

It was reported yesterday that Reid compares Price to Cruella De Vil when talking to friends.

Katie Price confirms marriage crisis

Former model Katie Price has admitted that her marriage with cage-fighter Alex Reid is going through a rough patch.

Victoria Beckham has reportedly told Samantha Cameron that she would be happy to give her one of her dresses.
According to Metro, popstar-turned-fashion designer Beckham approached the prime minister's wife at the British Fashion Awards.

"I'm a massive fan of yours," Beckham is reported to have told Cameron. "If you ever want to have or borrow a dress, no problems at all. Just ask and I'll sort it."

Katie Price has revealed that she and husband Alex Reid would consider adopting.

The reality TV star, who has three children, told ITV's This Morning that the couple would look at their options if they were unable to conceive naturally.

"We're trying for a baby at the moment but we'll definitely adopt if we can't have children together," she said.

"Even if we can have kids naturally, adopting is still something that I would like to do."

The 32-year-old also admitted that she would act as a surrogate for her make-up artist and friend Gary Cockerill and his husband Phil Turner.

"I would definitely be a surrogate mum for Gary and Phil if they want to have children," she said. "They're a big part of my life and I'd love to help them out in that way."

Jordan's perfume Axed over slave wages to Indian workers

Glamour model Katie Price a.k.a Jordan’s perfumes have been ditched by retail chain Superdrug after it was reported that Indian workers making the bottles were paid just 2.05 pounds a day.

The fragrances called ‘Stunning’ and ‘Besotted’ were being bottled at the Pragati factory in Gujarat. The labourers were getting paid below India’’s minimum wage, reports the Sun.

Glassworkers should earn at least 2.25 pounds a day.

According to experts, a daily wage of 141 rupees does not even properly cover the cost of food.

The factory also made bottles for late reality star Jade Goody's "Shhhh" perfume and for Umbro.

Superdrug sold Jordan’s perfumes at 19.99 pounds for a 50ml bottle plus gift sets.

“We have a robust ethical trading policy,” spokeswoman Sara Wolverson said.

Jordan spokesman, however, said that the contract with Indian company was withdrawn and the production has been switched to UK

Australian singer Peter Andre says that his ex-wife model Katie Price's marriage to cage fighter Alex Reid is the biggest joke in the world.

Speaking about 32-year-old Kate's marriage to Alex, 34, Peter's brother Mike said: "That's the biggest joke in the world," reports dailystar.co.uk.
