Anil Kapoor missing from Misson Impossible 4 trailers

MUMBAI: Anil Kapoor's much-discussed role in Mission: Impossible 4 – Ghost Protocol has turned out to be a damp squib for the actor's fans when the first trailers of the Tom Cruise-starrer were leaked online.

Anil is missing from the video which has Cruise and other characters. The buzz is that none of the frames in the trailer have even a glimpse of the actor and the actor has a two-minute scene in the film itself. If that is the truth then it would be very sad for this to happen to an actor of Anil's calibre after making a Hollywood debut in Slumdog Millionaire.

Tom Cruise's singing will surprise, says Baldwin

Stephen Baldwin has described Tom Cruise's vocal performance in the big-screen musical Rock of Ages as "intergalactic".

Baldwin, whose brother Alec will portray Dennis Dupree in the Broadway adaptation, said that audiences will be pleasantly surprised by Cruise's singing voice when the film is released next year.

"The word behind the scenes is 'intergalactic'," Baldwin told People yesterday.

"He covered a song by a particular band, and the feedback was that the band was completely blown away," he explained. "The whispers and the rumours are that what he's doing with Rock of Ages is out of this world. Pretty cool, huh?"

Cruise recently posted the first photo of himself in costume as rockstar Stacee Jaxx, complete with a glam-rock hairstyle and several fake tattoos.

The Adam Shankman-directed musical also stars Russell Brand, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Malin Akerman and Bryan Cranston.

Rock of Ages is due for release in cinemas on June 1, 2012.

Tom Cruise, Lea Thompson were completely 'naked' in 'All The Right Moves'

Actress Lea Thompson has revealed that she and actor Tom Cruise were completely naked for their make-out session in cult film 'All The Right Moves'.

Martina Navratilova 'released from hospital'


Martina Navratilova has been released from hospital following a serious illness she experienced during a charity climb of Mt Kilimanjaro.


The tennis pro was rushed to a Kenyan hospital last week after developing high altitude pulmonary oedema on the ascent.

"I am feeling much better and really pleased to be going home. I'd like to thank all the staff at Nairobi Hospital, who were wonderful, and really took care of me. The care I received during my three days in hospital was excellent," she said, according to the Daily Star.

"I have also been very touched by all the messages of support I have received over the past few days, and want to thank Laureus Academy Chairman Edwin Moses in particular, for making a very early morning call from Atlanta today to wish me well. He’s one of the most prolific stars in Hollywood, and Tom Cruise isn’t letting his advancing age keep him from looking fabulous in “Mission: Impossible 4.”

The “Minority Report” stud has reportedly put himself on a strict diet and regular fitness program in an effort to tone up his form for the flick.

According to an insider, “Tom has put himself on a strict fitness routine and diet, which includes daily three-hour workouts and a low-carb meal plan consisting of 1,200-1,300 calories per day.”

The source added, “Tom is determined to look like he did ten years ago… he has been working out with his personal trainer.”

Tom Cruise has revealed how proud he is of his daughter Suri.

Cruise explained on GMTV that Suri came on set during the filming of Knight and Day and created her own bakery scenes during breaks.

He said: "It was great because my family was on set every day and Cameron's (Diaz) family were on set and it was like we were in this imaginary bakery and Katie [Holmes] was stood there ordering in between takes."

Diaz admitted that she was also taken by the 4-year-old.

The actress said: "She had her own little bakery and she would tell you what's going on today. It was like, 'These are what muffins we have today', and she played out all these scenes, it was so fun... Suri was going around serving all of us."

Cruise added: "Suri is very special. She is incredibly loving and she is very creative, she draws, she acts, she writes. In between takes she would have her own little scenes going on."

Actor Tom Cruise wants his actress wife Katie Holmes to design a men's wear range.

Holmes, who has a four-year-old daughter Suri with Cruise, launched her debut fashion collection Holmes & Yang for women two years ago.

It was co-designed by her stylist and friend Jeanne Yang. It has been successful among women. Now Cruise wants her to launch a men's range too, reports femalefirst.

Tom Cruise 'laughs off death rumours'

Tom Cruise laughed off rumours on Friday that he had died in an accident while in New Zealand.

Talking to MTV News, the actor joked that the online gossip was true and that he really had passed away in a plumbing mishap.

"No, I'm not [alive]. I'm a hologram," he said.

The 47-year-old added that he found the rumour funny, and assured fans that he is actually okay.
