HTC EVO 4G to Use Sprint’s 4G WiMax Network - - With a Massive Eight Megapixel Camera With a Built in Flash

One of the first Android smartphones to use Sprint’s 4G WiMax network has just been announced, the HTC EVO 4G, which was previously known as the HTC Supersonic.

The HTC EVO 4G features a 4.3 inch TFT display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, processing comes in the form of a Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon processor, and it also features 1GB of built in memory and 512MB of RAM.

The HTC EVO 4G comes with a massive eight megapixel camera with a built in flash that can record HD video in 720p. There is also a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera, which means video conferencing will be available on the EVO 4G.

Other specifications include HDMI out, 802.11 b/g WiFi and a microSD card slot with an 8GB microSD card included. There are no details on when the Sprint HTC EVO 4G will go on sale or any pricing information.

From the looks of the specifications this is going to be one Android handset to watch out for.
