The Sony Vaio M Series will feature a 10.1 inch LED display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, and it is powered by an Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz processor.
Storage comes in the form of a 250GB 5400 rpm SATA hard drive, and there is also 1GB of DDR2 RAM, graphics is provided by an integrated Intel GMA 3150 chip and there is also a built in web camera.
Connectivity on the Sony Vaio M series comes in the form of 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, there is also a pair of built in stereo speakers, a mono microphone and three USB 2.0 ports.
The Sony Vaio M Series netbook will be available in the UK shortly for around £299 about $450, and it will come in a choice of black and white. There are no details as yet on when it will go on sale in the US.
