Maingear has updated its eX-L 15 Gaming Notebook that was featured on the web back in August last year, with Intel’s new Core i5 and Core i5 processors.
The Maingear eX-L15 features a 15 inch LED backlit display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 which means it can do Full HD video in 1080p. It comes with an ATI Radeon HD 5870 graphics cards and support for Direct X11.
There is also a choice of a range of hard drives from 250GB up to 750GB and a choice of solid state drive (SSD) from 80GB up to 512GB. Processing comes from a choice of Intel Core i5 and Core i7 processor, and it you get the choice of either 4GB or 8GB of DDR3 RAM.
Other specifications include a DVD or Blu-ray drive, DVI, HDMi and S/PDIF audio out, there is also four USB 2.0 ports, a web camera, eSATA and Firewire.
Pricing on the Maingear eX-L 15 starts at $1,599 but if you go for the top end model with all the options you are looking at close to $4,500.
