Patroit the manufacturer who builds memory modules and flash memory products has just launched their new Zephyr line of sold state hard drives SSD.
Zephyr drives are available in 64GB, 128GB and 256GB capacities with up to 240MB/s read and 85MB/s write speeds as well as on-board cache to offer smooth data transfers.
Built from a durable and lightweight aluminum housing and using NAND flash, the Zephyr SSDs have no moving parts making them more durable than traditional IDE hard drives. Unfortunately there’s no details as yet on expected availability or prices.
