Well, it is no news at all. First, it is a PETA ad, and second, someone bares it all for a cause. For a cause, mind you! This time, the female figure is Olivia Munn – an American actress, model and television personality, who is among the excepted few who never before showed her natural side for any magazine, be it Playboy, Vanity Fair or Men’s Health. In the Boycott the Circus ad, she aims to raise people awareness on circus elephants, which are exploited almost to death while they are being trained to amuse viewer.
The sexy billboard can be seen in Los Angeles Freeway. You will see Olivia sitting with her legs crossed to hide her private parts. A picture of elephants in their natural habitat forms its background that reads: As Nature Intended Let Elephants Be Free BOYCOTT THE CIRCUS. Olivia says:
When you look at something like the circus and everyone’s laughing and there’s color and there’s music and everything seems so great.” She then added, “But when you go right behind that door and they’re in these crates all day long and then they’re getting shocked and beat just so they can get up and dance around on a ball... it was just so sickening.
If she had conveyed the same with her clothes on, had the message been any different? After all, it’s the communiqué that matters, not how you pose for it.
