Revealing photos of Jon Bon Jovi have been released in a new memoir written by the band's former tour manager Rich Bozzett.
Images of the singer reportedly posing in bed with topless women feature in Bozzett's book Sex, Drugs and Bon Jovi.
According to WENN, the pictures were taken by rock photographer Ross Marino during the band's tour in 1985, and were originally intended to be publicity shots.
Bozzett allegedly took the negatives and kept them in a safety deposit box until last year when he made the decision to write the book.
The author claims that Bon Jovi asked him to destroy the images shortly after the shoot.
He wrote: "A panic-stricken Jon Bon Jovi immediately called up Doc (his manager McGhee) to tell him that we needed to track down the pictures as soon as possible."
Bon Jovi's spokesperson told the New York Post: "This is an outtake of a photoshoot. Everyone should be so lucky at 22 years old… Rich is remembered as a nice-enough guy who was eventually in over his head as the band's success grew.
"As far as his attempt to cash in on alleged experiences he had 21 years ago? No comment."
