Cheryl Cole has reportedly turned to religion for reassurance after her "worst ever year".
This year has seen the X Factor judge divorce husband Ashley, struck down with malaria and face a backlash over some of her decisions on the ITV show. The Sun claims that Cole has now sought guidance from "higher powers".
"Cheryl has awakened her spiritual side," a source said. "She has been tapping into higher powers for answers and guidance.
"She's been doing some deep thinking - especially after malaria. Christianity is closest to her, but she's open to other religious influences."
It was added that Cole's close friend Derek Hough is a Mormon, while Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am, her frequent collaborator, is also religious.
N-Dubz Tulisa: 'I'm not gay'
Tulisa Contostavlos has brushed off claims that she is gay.
The N-Dubz singer, who is seen kissing a women in the music video for their new single 'Girls', said that she is not a lesbian but "wanted to wind everyone up."
"I do hate men but I'm not gay. I'm not looking for a girlfriend," she told RWD Magazine.
"That tune was just fun and the video was spontaneous when I kissed NY. We were sat in the dressing room and I was trying to work out how to get her in the video. I was joking that we should have some 'lezza' action but I thought, let's make her the card dealer then at the end you'll find out she's my chick.
"You don't see on the video fully but we actually kisssssed."
The star recently claimed that all men are animals.
