Lara Stone's new Calvin Klein ad banned

Authorities have banned supermodel Lara Stone's latest Calvin Klein advertisement in Australia, alleging that the photographs promoted 'violence and rape'.

The Dutch beauty is pictured in her underwear lying among a group of men, with one male model straddling her suggestively while the other pulling her hair.

After receiving complaints, officials at the country's Advertising Standards Bureau branded the ads "demeaning to women" and ruled the campaign must be scrapped, reports aceshowbiz.com.

"The board considered that whilst the act depicted could be consensual, the overall impact and most likely takeout is that the scene is suggestive of violence and rape," the organisation said in a statement.

"The board considered that the image was demeaning to women by suggesting that she is a plaything of these men. It also demeans men by implying sexualised violence against women," the statement added.

Douglas blames ‘Saggy Ass’ for rejecting the raunchy 'Basic Instinct 2'

The 65-year-old ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps ’ star — who’s married to actress Catherine Zeta Jones — says he stayed well away from the critically panned Basic Instinct 2 because he didn’t feel confident back in the raunchy role.

“The first one was great and Sharon Stone was fantastic but who would want to see my saggy ass?” he said.

“I just didn’t feel like doing another. The first one was a tough one to do and we pulled it off so god bless them but I didn’t go near the sequel.”

Michael recently insisted he’ll never live up to the greatness of his father Kirk Douglas.

“I don’t think of myself as a legend,” he said last month. “My father is a legend. I’ll never match him on that score.

I just love the fact that whatever I do I still get to share with him at the age of 93.”

Douglas will next be seen in Oliver Stone’s ‘Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps’ that releases in India on September 24th. The actor is battling throat cancer.

Model Lara Stone sues French 'Playboy'

Lara Stone has decided to sue Playboy in France after the magazine allegedly used "unauthorised" images of the model.

The Dutch star claims that pictures taken by photographer Greg Lotus were featured in the publication's June edition without her consent.

According to WENN, she said: "It's not the kind of publication I would ever choose to appear in. Playboy had no right to publish these unauthorised photographs.

"I feel I have no option but to take steps to protect my reputation."

Stone married comedian David Walliams in May.
