Giada De Laurentiis denying of rumor

 Italian cook Giada De Laurentiis denying the Star's story that she was seen being cosy with musician John Mayer. She told that it is just a rumor but nothing.

She added more, "It is a shame a media outlet such as Star needs to rely on disgraceful lies and hide behind false anonymous 'sources' in order to entertain their readers.

"When the Star reporter approached Giada De Laurentiis on Sunday, while she was co-hosting a children's cancer fundraiser, Giada responded unequivocally that she did not see John Mayer when she was in New York for the Food and Wine Festival. Furthermore, contrary to the claims of an anonymous 'source,' at no time did Giada step foot in the Gansevoort Hotel.

"Giada indeed met John Mayer briefly at a charity event in 2007 but has not seen him since. To be clear, they are not friends and cannot even go so far as to call John Mayer an acquaintance.

"There is not a sliver of truth to Star magazine's story. It is unfortunate Star would publish these malicious untruths without reporting the fact that Giada was with her husband Todd that weekend in New York, along with their family and friends. Giada De Laurentiis and her family deserve an apology and we demand an immediate retraction."

Jennifer Aniston Banging John Mayer Again?

There are increasing rumors that Jennifer Aniston is banging her ex John Mayer, and since they both visited Toronto at the same time, several sources have come forward saying these two are bumping uglies one more time.

Just a few days ago, Jenn met Mayer again, this time in Atlanta, where she is filming her new movie Wanderlust (where she will appear fully naked).

Reportedly she went to see his show, after which they left the theater hand in hand and spent the entire night together afterwards.

A source tells RadarOnline: "She looked gorgeous and seemed to be really enjoying herself. She and John laughed a lot."

Mayer "lying low" after Simpson scandal

John Mayer is believed to be taking a break from the limelight.

The 32-year-old singer, who has previously dated stars such as Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jessica Simpson, has reportedly decided to lie "low" after controversial comments he made about Simpson earlier this year.

A friend of Mayer told Us Magazine: "He's been lying low. His CD wasn't huge and that Playboy interview took him down a few pegs."

In the interview, Mayer referred to Simpson as "sexual napalm".

Together Again

Sounding as if they may be giving love another go, it's being rumored that Jennifer Aniston is back in the arms of ex-flame John Mayer.

With nothing being confirmed as of yet, the claim stems from the "Why Georgia?" singer's recent interview in which he talks about giving love a "second chance" - with insiders alleging Jen and John have been secretly dating for a few weeks.

And while this would actually be the trifecta (the pair dated and broke up twice thus far throughout 2008 and 2009), Mayer definitely sounds like a guy who's made up his mind about not letting relationships die too easily.

He tells, "I believe in second chances. You might have been a pain in the a*s the last time around, but you can still start over again from home base. Next time you get a text from the one you love just text back 'come over' - no matter what happened in the past. If you really love someone, just tell them and be with them."
