The eldest son of the former Alaskan governor and vice presidential candidate tied the knot with Hanson during an intimate ceremony held recently in Hatcher Pass, Alaska.

"Our families couldn't be happier!" read a joint statement issued by both families.

"These are two hard working, humble, active, studious young adults who grew up together. We're tickled that after two decades of friendship we proudly witnessed their marriage, knowing their new life together will be blessed."

A larger ceremony is expected to be held this winter at the state's Alyeska Ski Resort when it is easier for guests from the mainland to travel over for "a long ski weekend".

Sarah's daughter Bristol recently inked a deal to appear in her own 10-episode reality series due to air on the BIO Channel later this year.

It has since been reported that the politician could possibly appear on the programme, though no plans have been set in stone.

"I Have Not Had Implants"

With rumors of a possible upper-body enhancement recently making their rounds, Sarah Palin has spoken up to shoot down talk of a boob job.

Kick-starting the enhancement chatter after wearing a tight top to last weekend's Belmont Stakes horse race, the former VP candidate assures that she hasn't gone under the knife.

Talking to Greta Van Susteren of FOX News, Mrs Palin said, "No, I have not had implants. A report like that is about as real and truthful as reports that [my husband] Todd and I are divorcing or that I bought a place in the Hamptons or that [my son] Trigg is not my own child."

The 46-year-old added, "To be judged on or to be talked about on appearance -- say chest size -- it makes me wear layers, it makes me have to waste time figuring out what am I going to wear so that nobody will look at an area that I don't need them to look at. I want them to hear what it is that I'm saying. It just ends up wasting time and that's very, very unfortunate."

Sarah Palin Testifies Against Email Hacker

While it’s no secret that she received a plethora of criticism during her 2008 campaign with Presidential candidate John McCain, it seems Sarah Palin also suffered an attack from a computer hacker.

And earlier today (April 23) the former Governor of Alaska testified in a Tennessee court against a former college student accused of illegally accessing her email account.

David Kernell is suspected of hacking into Palin’s personal email account and posting her daughter Bristol’s phone number on a website. This led to harassing phone calls and text messages.

Kernell is not being accused of making the phone calls, though he could face up to 50 years in prison if convicted. David’s lawyer said it was all a prank and he meant no harm.

Daughter of Sarah Palin, Bristol Palin, testified Wednesday. While she was 17 and pregnant in 2008 when her mother Sarah Palin's Yahoo! account was invaded after the former Alaska governor was picked as the Republican vice presidential candidate.

Bristol said she worried when a bunch of boys called, claiming they were at her front door and wanted in. "We live in the middle of nowhere in Alaska ... in the middle of the woods," Bristol said during the trial of a 22-year-old former college student accused of hacking the account.

The trial continues Thursday and could last more than a week. Sarah Palin also was subpoenaed to testify but it was unclear if and when she would.

David Kernell was an economics major at the University of Tennessee when he was accused of hacking the account. He is on trial on charges of identity theft, wire fraud, intentionally accessing Mrs Palin's email account without authorization and obstructing an FBI investigation. If convicted, he could be sent to prison for up to 50 years.

Sarah Palin Goes Hollywood

For those wondering if Sarah Palin would make the leap to series television, the answer is in: “You betcha.”

The 46-year old former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate has signed a deal with Discovery Communications for an eight-part documentary series tentatively titled, Sarah Palin's Alaska. The show will “reveal Alaska's powerful beauty as it has never been filmed” through Palin’s eyes, and will be produced by reality czar Mark Burnett, who counts Survivor and The Apprentice among his credits.

Though additional details remain spotty, the show will air on Discovery’s female-friendly cable network TLC, known to many as the former home of other polarizing stars, Jon and Kate Gosselin of Jon and Kate: Plus Eight fame. (Palin’s daughter Bristol will be making her Hollywood debut as well, appearing in a summer episode of ABC Family's teen drama The Secret Life of the American Teenager.)

Rumors of a Palin series have been circulating for weeks, with early speculation that broadcasters like NBC may have interest. More recently, A&E Networks was allegedly in the running for a program bound to get ink (as for viewers, it’s too early to know). In the end, according to Variety, it was cable behemoth Discovery that was willing to shell out more than $1 million per episode for the Palin-hosted travel series.
